Sacrament of Confirmation Mass

We welcomed 33 youth into the Catholic Church at Most Blessed Sacrament Church at the Confirmation Mass. This step in their lives completes the foundation of their baptismal grace as outlined in our Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC1285) .

The Mass was presided by Bishop Kevin Vann, JCD, DD, Bishop of the Diocese of Fort Worth and concelebrants were our own Reverend Monsignor Joe Scantlin, Pastor of Most Blessed Sacrament Church, and from the Fort Worth Diocese as well, Father John Robert Skeldon and Father Isaac Orcozo, Secretary to the Bishop.

Lectors were Sarah Wood and Joseph Aguon.

Congratulations to all those who completed this important step in their lives.

Thanks to all who helped in their training, especially Thanh Nguyen, Youth Director, and Becky Lucas, Director or Religious Education.

Thanks also to those who helped in any way make this a special day for the youth and their parents.
