First Eucharist Family Day

Those preparing for the Sacrament of First Communion joined with their families for a fun filled day of learning and activities. The day started with a program overview followed by four different activities.........Bread Making, Banner-Making, "Jesus is Love" (craft gifts to share with friends and far off family members) and "Jesus is Servant to Others" (foot washing). The day ended with Sharing of Bread and a short practice for the First Eucharist Celebration to be held on Saturday, April 25, 2009.

Thanks to all the helpers who made this day possible and to Becky Lucas, Director of Religious Education, for all the coordination and preparation of the First Eucharist program.

Special thanks to the Moms and Dads, sisters and brothers for their support of those that will be celebrating their First Communion.
