Children's Christmas Party

The Most Blessed Sacrament Church Community Service Committee hosted their annual Children's Christmas Party this Saturday. Approximately 250 needy kindergarten through 6th grade students from Roquemore, Webb, Spear, Swift, Berry and Sherrod elementary schools, along with their parents, representing about 70 families, attended the MBS annual Christmas Party. The Baron DJ entertained the guests along with the ALWAYS popular Miss Persis troupe of performers, face painters and balloon makers provided by our Religious Education department and helped by our Youth group, clowns and even a visitor from the North Pole. Pizza, homemade cookies and ice cream was served.

Thanks to Bernita McWilliams, president of the Community Service Committee, and the many members of the committee for organizing and helping. 

Thanks also to the many other individuals and groups that helped including the MBS Couples, the Knights of Columbus Squires, Boy Scouts, Becky Lucas (DRE), and Ruffles the Clown and her clown friend.

Special thanks to The Miss Persis Dance Studio for their always entertaining performance for the kids.

A very special thanks to all the parishioners who donated gifts to help support this annual party.

And , of course, we were all glad to see Santa had a few moments at this time of year to visit.
