Easter Vigil

Most Blessed Sacrament Church

Our Parish community gathered this evening for the Easter Vigil Mass. The Service of Light began the celebration with the new Paschal candle being lit, blessed and placed in position by the baptismal font. The Liturgy of the Word followed. Fifteen catechumen received the Sacrament of Baptism, ten of which were received into full communion with the church through the Sacraments of Confirmation and the Eucharist. Our Adult and Bell Choirs provided excellent music throughout the evening. The Liturgy Committee had a wonderful opportunity to welcome a family with one child who had a special need. A reception followed to celebrate and welcome all the new members of our Parish community.
