The Pastoral Council
of our parish is a group of individuals dedicated to promote the
work of the church through prayer, consultation and discussion.
The Code of Canon Law, (Canon 536) , recommends that pastoral
councils "give their help in fostering pastoral activity. "
They are available to listen to all suggestions and concerns in the
parish community, develop any plans of action and submit any
recommendations to the pastor. They, above all other duties, are in place to
help the pastor and serve all ministerial
groups to help the life and growth of the parish community.
