Parish Mission (September, 2005) We had 2,384 parishioners attend our Parish Mission. It was a  special opportunity to renew our faith at Most Blessed Sacrament. If you were not able to attend all nights or missed one or more nights, a 3 cassette tape set that includes the Sunday Mass homily and the five mission sermons on Sacraments was available.  Thanks to Father Joe and Deacon Jim for their help and support all week and to all the Fort Worth and Dallas diocesan Priests who helped us Tuesday night, September 13th. Your help was truly appreciated. Thanks also to Gwen and Paul Wills who coordinated the mission and to the many volunteers who gave their time and talents to make this a very successful event. Continued blessings on Father Pete as he leads Parish Missions throughout the country.

Hurricane Relief (2005) Thanks to everyone who gave their time and money over several months to the evacuees of the Gulf Coast hurricanes. We were able to help 20 families with our kitchen and linen basket program and the money that was donated to the Red Cross and other charitable organizations have helped hundreds more. Thanks to the volunteers who gave their time, resources and personal property to house and bed so many evacuees. Also to the many who gave rides to and from church, feed or housed our brothers and sisters in Christ.  God Bless everyone who did anything in this massive effort.

2nd Annual Most Blessed Sacrament Golf Tournament (October 1st, 2005)- Our parish community had a great time and wonderful turnout for our 2nd annual golf tournament  at Ditto Golf Course. We raised $3000 for the Arlington Women's Shelter. We met at Church at 7:15 AM and returned by 3PM. It was a great experience to work together working on several houses knowing we were helping others in the process. Most of the youth helped paint inside while most of the adults did landscaping and set mailbox posts at several houses.  Thanks to Thanh Nguyen for coordinating the event. We are looking forward to our next opportunity to help .

Wednesday, April 5th, 2006  - Re-Creation Performance - This was a very inspirational hour of music by a very talented group of young singers and  musicians. This group travels across the country every year dedicated to entertaining the  veterans of our country currently in veterans hospitals. This was their 3rd visit to Most Blessed Sacrament. They take time out between hundreds of hospital performances to visit local churches and parishes to perform some very special music and have blessed our parish with their talents the past 3 years. It is always free to the public, but a free will offering was taken to support their work.
