organization for abused or neglected children and youth. To

share words of hope, faith and encouragement through cheerful

Knights are still collecting cell phones and ink jet
cartridges for recycling with proceeds going to support the Fort
Worth Diocese Seminarians.
There is a box for these in the vestibule of the
church on the Ministers Sign In Table.

Habitat for Humanity Building
Opportunity - Saturday, November 22, 2008 - Fort Worth Diocese Catholic
House - Join us for this opportunity to help Habitat for
Humanity build a house in the Fort Worth area. On this Saturday,
we would like at least 20Youth and adults to help. No experience is
necessary. On-site contractors explain safety procedures before any work
starts and guide all volunteers through any tasks to be worked on during the
building and landscaping. It is a very rewarding experience knowing we are
helping others in our community. Please contact

Seminar - Mandatory Workshop for Volunteers - Adult Education
Room 1:00 - 4:30 PM
A
mandatory workshop will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament for all
those volunteers who help with children and youth at our parish.
This workshop needs to be attended for volunteers who have not been
to this training before or have not had the Keeping Children Safe
instruction within the last 3 years. Call Becky Lucas,
Religious Education Director, at the Parish Office to register -
817- 460-2751. Please identify need for childcare. See

DAY MASS - 10:00 am

December 13th, 2008 - Children's
Christmas Party - 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM - The MBS
Community Service Committee has invited over 200 needy kindergarten to 6th
grade students from nearby grade schools every year, along with their parents,
to attend this event, provided by
the generosity of the MBS parishioners. Guests have been entertained
in past years by a
DJ, the Baron, Miss Persis troupe of performers, face painters,
balloon makers, clowns, and a visitor from the North Pole. Pizza
will be served along with homemade cookies and ice cream.
Parishioners are asked to provide new, unwrapped toys for boys and
girls ages kindergarten to 6th grade/age 12. Collection boxes for the
toys will be at the side doors of the church. Toys will be graciously
accepted until noon on Thursday, December 11. The Community Service
Committee THANKS YOU for all your help!!

Choirs Bake Sale after all Masses -
Visit
the Choir Bake sale in front of the Parish Hall this weekend. There
will be a variety of desserts available for the Christmas holidays.

Knights of Columbus Breakfast - The Knights of Columbus
will be serving breakfast after the 8:00 am and 10:00 am Masses this Sunday. There
will be pancakes, French toast, sausage, bacon, hash brown potatoes,
scrambled eggs and biscuits prepared by our own nearly world famous
Chef Eddie. The cost ... $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and $3 for children.
Even if you are not interested in eating, come to visit with old
friends and to make new friends in your parish family.

Columbus Bowl-A-Thon

All money raised from the bowlathon is tax deductible and will
go to our Council 9299's State Charities goal with 70% of
those funds coming back to Fort Worth for use by Bishop Vann
for the Deaf Ministries and Seminarian Support Programs. The
remaining 30% is used by K of C Texas State Charities to benefit
needy families and for disaster relief efforts across the State of
Texas. Dennis Volz, Craig Janda, Alex Trujillo, Dan
Hartman, Ric Wilson, and Matt Lavin and Tony Fontanelli have
bowled for our Council in the past few years. You may make a pledge
to any of the above.

December 21, 2008 - Most Blessed Sacrament Christmas Concert - 7 PM
Mark your calendar for this very special event, Our
concert is produced by
our very own Music Department and led by our Music Director, Michele
Grim. Santa is even scheduled to be there for one of
the songs with candy canes. Hope he can make it with his busy
schedule
this time of year. We are very blessed at our parish to have
very talented vocalists and musicians and we hope to have
our visiting professional orchestra composed of about 40 different
musicians of strings and woodwind instrumentalists like last year.
Join with family and friends for this year's concert. It will be another entertaining and inspirational
evening for all.
