Who we are
The MBS Families
group is a parish organization offering Catholic families an opportunity
to develop relationships, and communicate in a social environment with
other families, who share a common faith.
What we do
The MBS Families Group plans several fun family activities throughout the
year. Here are a few of the activity ideas the group will be participating
in the near future or have in the past:

How to Reach Us
MBS Families announces group activities in the church
bulletin as well as a newsletter in the summer, September, October and
January to provide further details on upcoming activities. For more
information in becoming a part of the MBS Families Group, please call
Margret Janda at 817-543-0542 or the parish office at 817-460-2751. We
look forward to meeting you.
News for 2008-2009
Good things are
happening with The MBS Families Group, and we wanted to share it with all
of you in our extended MBS Family!!!
We are pleased to announce that our group has come together and
organized ourselves so that we may become a stronger and even more
positive force and ministry at MBS. We have put new officers in place
that will be leading, coordinating, and delegating within our group.
As well as, reaching out to the parish and its ministries.
Here
are the new officers for the 2008-2009 term:
-Ministry Leader/Treasurer : Margret Janda
(leads quarterly. planning meetings, serve as liaison to the various
parish committees/ministries through communication & attendance of
key ministry meetings)
-Membership Development : MANDY WALTER
(actively recruit and retain new
members)
-Communications : TIM & STACYE ONSTOTT
(produces newsletter/bulletin/website updates)
-Social Chairpersons : BETH SILVESTRI &
JUANITA BLANCO & SHIRIN FRENZEL
(oversees & coordinates social events for the group, enlisting
volunteers and delegating responsibilities; including the groups
involvement with MBS Easter Egg Hunt & Trunk-or-Treat)
Please note that all
communication between you and your ministry can
be done through the above representatives, as it relates.
We will also be dedicated to recruiting and retaining new families,
so if you hear of anyone who might be interested in our group -
please pass on their name to any of the group members.
