The Sacrament of Confirmation brings an increase and deepening of baptismal grace: it roots us more deeply in the divine filiation which makes us cry “Abba Father” (Rom 8:15): it unites us more firmly to Christ: it increases the gifts of the Holy Spirit. (CCC 1303). Preparation classes are held once a month, beginning in September in three-hour sessions with parents and children, involves attendance at a Salvation Retreat just before Easter, and culminates in being received into the Church at the Easter Vigil Mass. For more information on this important sacrament for adolescents and adults, including the Sacraments of Baptism and First Eucharist/Reconciliation information, contact Becky Lucas, Director of Religious Education (Children), or Beverly Corzine (RCIA coordinator – Adults), at the parish office, 817-460-2751.
