Arlington Grandmothers Club

Chapter 1035

Arlington, Texas

The Arlington Grandmothers Club is a non-profit, charitable and educational organization

established for grandmothers in our area. We support various local children’s charities through financial assistance and by volunteering our time to participate in activities with these charities.

We also support the National Federation of Grandmothers charity, which is C.U.R.E.

The National Federation of Grandmother Clubs of America, Inc. was founded in 1938 by a woman who had a vision of contributing resources towards the goodwill of grandchildren and children everywhere.

The Federation is dedicated to contribute to research relating to children’s diseases and well-being.  Recently, the Federation has raised and contributed more than $35,000 yearly toward this goal.

Thanks to all who contribute their time, talent, and baked goods and to all those who attend our bake sales. For more information on the National Federation of Grandmothers Clubs and the children's cancer research effort, visit the links below.

C.U.R.E.

The Arlington Grandmothers Club welcomes all grandmothers, regardless of where you live,

how many grandchildren you have, or your age. Our goal is to support our children and research relating to children’s diseases, our American citizenship, and to enjoy the social and educational interests of our members.

The Arlington Grams meet every second Thursday of the month. The location of each meeting is determined at the previous meeting. Yearly dues are $20.00. You will also receive the

“Autumn Leaves” magazine, published quarterly by the National Organization, filled with

articles from other Grandmothers Clubs throughout the United States, along with articles

from the N.F.G.C.A. board members informing us of the Boards involvement with our

government and with research foundations.

Your gain from an organization is what you put into it! Our rewards are great

Nothing makes one feel better than to put a smile on a child’s face!!!!!!
